AHCA Statement on Senate Budget Proposal
The American Health Care Association/National
Center for Assisted Living President and CEO Mark Parkinson issued the
following statement on February 8, 2018, regarding the Senate budget proposal:
“We are disappointed that the Senate budget proposal includes a $2 billion cut to skilled nursing facilities. An across the board cut like the one included in this bill would have a dramatic effect on our nation’s most vulnerable citizens.
